We went on our first family vacation this weekend to Palm Springs. It was so fun! Conner was asked to perform a wedding ceremony for a friend so we made a weekend out of it. We left Saturday morning and Zion slept the entire drive there. The hotel was so nice and very relaxing. We spent the weekend reading, napping, eating, taking walks and then Sunday night we had the wedding. The ceremony was outside and it was so beautiful. Conner did a great job and Zion didn't cry at all the whole ceremony- which I was nervous about.
Zion did great traveling. He is such a wonderful baby. He had his 2 month appointment last week and has grown 2 more inches and now weighs 12.4 lbs. The Dr. said he is healthy and that his development is right on schedule for his age. He will watch objects move back and forth, he has found his left thumb, he smiles (as you can see in the adorable pics:), and he is finding his voice. It is so cute because if you coo at him he will cooooooo right back. Adorable!!!! I just love him so much!
